Exclusive Peek Inside Big Sean’s Luxurious $12M Malibu Mansion, a Glamorous Home He Shares with His Beloved Mom

Big Sean’s mother is the perpetual houseguest, but the “I don’t f— with you” singer doesn’t mind.

Myra Anderson moved into her son’s Beverly Hills mansion in October 2019 and decided to remain until Thanksgiving, Christmas, his 25th birthday on March 25, 2020, and then until the pandemic passed. And, well…

“Approximately one and a half years later, my mother is still with me. Do you realize what I’m saying? In May, he gave Architectural Digest a tour of his seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bathroom Mediterranean residence. “It’s been beautiful,” he told the publication.

It is unclear why Big Sean, whose actual name is Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, listed his $12 million mansion and nightclub in March.

Last week, he gave Architectural Digest a tour of his home, which formerly belonged to Slash from Guns N’ Roses, and the interiors are even more beautiful than the listing photographs suggested.
He said this in a Sean Anderson Foundation mental health awareness video, part of a series he is releasing with his mother this month.

The 11,000-square-foot, no-shoes Beverly Hills home is characterized by the mindfulness Big Sean learned from his mother. According to Architectural Digest, he “fung-shued” the home from its “darker Gothic tone” when Guns n’ Roses guitarist Slash possessed it.

His two-story atrium is decorated with orchids, a dragon representing the year he was born (1988), copper rings “to enhance the energy,” and a neon art piece that reads “One Man Can Change the World” after his song with John Legend and Kanye about his grandmother, he said in the tour video.

Inside, a double-height foyer features a curved wrought-iron staircase; beyond, there are expansive living areas with soaring ceilings and large windows. The first floor features an elegant living room with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace.

Additionally, the main level features a formal dining room and a family room with a bar that opens to an outdoor dining terrace. A contemporary kitchen for a chef features dual marble islands, a breakfast bar, Viking appliances, and a casual dining area. Additionally, Anderson added a picture window overlooking the pool area.

On the lower level, a cavernous nightclub retains some memorabilia from Slash’s tenure, including a sanitized stripper pole, according to Anderson, as well as a DJ booth and skull sconces. This floor also contains a bar and kitchenette, a gym and a luxurious cinema theatre with 13 seats. Anderson transformed a bedroom into a soundproof recording laboratory where he created “Paradise,” “I Decided,” and “Detroit 2.”

The master suite’s upper level features a seating area with a fireplace, a custom dressing room, and a private balcony. A luxurious bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub and a glass-walled walk-in shower. In addition to an office, a library, and staff quarters, the residence is also equipped with an RTI smart home system and Sonos sound.

The resort-like grounds are enclosed by towering hedges for added seclusion. In addition to a saline pool, a built-in grill, a fire pit, and a rose garden are included in the elegant residential package.
