Aberdoni Studio Unveils the Spectacular 80m Concept Prelude

Prelude is a novel 80-meter superyacht concept introduced by the Monaco-based firm Aberdoni Studio. According to the studio’s leader, Jay Aberdoni, the yacht was envisaged as an explorer at its core, but a greater emphasis was placed on exploring the boundaries of onboard experiences.

A beach club area reimagined in the manner of a New York penthouse is central to the design of the yacht. The facility, spanning two decks and enclosed in glass, features an indoor garden, bar, and cinema-style screen.

When at anchor, the glass doors can be slid open and swim platforms can be extended to create a waterfront living area that offers the best of outdoor living near an elegant interior.

According to Aberdeen, the beach club area has been outfitted with dangling light fixtures and Scandinavian-inspired accents to create a place where guests can “run away” from the world.

Numerous lounging and relaxation areas are located in the beach club section of Prelude, including a lounge that receives natural light from windows on both sides and from the pool’s glass-bottomed terrace.

In this section, there is seating for up to 14 diners and a seating area with low-slung sofas and tables.

Up on the deck, the pool area is accompanied by three sunloungers and a touch-and-go helipad, which can be outfitted with furnishings for all-weather use. Foldable glass bulwarks guarantee uninterrupted views and permit obstruction-free takeoffs and landings.

This superyacht concept also features a sun veranda that can be shaded, with the majority of unsightly technical equipment concealed within a central structure.

Additionally, the foredeck of Prelude features a small Jacuzzi plunge pool with a glass front and sunloungers with retractable sunshades.

Twelve visitors are accommodated in six cabins, including an owner’s suite on the upper deck with a retractable balcony and private lounge.

There are quarters for a total of 18 crew members. The yacht has a beam of 13.4 meters and a maximum draught of 3.3 meters.
