Tyler Herro, a guard for the Miami Heat, rang in 2023 as any emerging star athlete would have: with a game-winning buzzer-beater and a new house.
The 22-year-old NBA player set a new геаlestate benchmark by purchasing a South Florida mansion late last month, according to The геаl Deal. Herro paid $10.5 million for a mansion in the affluent Pinecrest neighborhood of Miami-Dade County, where only eight other properties have sold for $8 million or more. (However, the initial asking price for his Balinese-style residence was $11.9 million.) The guard’s enormous 9,505-square-foot home features eight bedrooms and eight and a half restrooms. While there are no views of the water, a magnificent tropical landscape serves as the backdrop instead.
In a press release, Josie Wang of Brown Harris Stevens Miami, who represented the sellers, said, “Pinecrest is an incredibly desirable destination for luxury home buyers, and this home is truly the area’s crown jewel.” The location is close to Miami’s finest attractions, such as marinas, top institutions, dining, shopping, and parks. The home’s design, craftsmanship, and custom, top-of-the-line embellishments, from lighting to millwork, are unparalleled.”
The glass-walled mansion situated on a roughly one-acre lot was acquired for a modest $5.3 million while it was still being constructed in 2021. Herro will be able to choose from a variety of luxurious amenities, such as a wine cellar, culinary chef’s kitchen, and spacious media room, given that the property was sold for close to twice the original price. Walls of floor-to-ceiling glass and globally sourced materials, including natural marble, stone, and wood imported from Brazil and Italy, give the modern home its upscale appearance elsewhere.
Obviously, indoor/outdoor existence is inherent to the environment. The grounds in the backyard are also reminiscent of the South Pacific, with their verdant landscaping and native flora. A large swimming pool is located in the center, surrounded by additional water features, a veranda, and a cabana. If and when Herro decides to entertain at his new abode, the summer kitchen will come in handy, as the baller knows a thing or two about entertaining.
