Russell Wilson and Ciara’s Record-Breaking $25 Million Luxury Estate: A New Chapter in Colorado’s Elite Real Estate Scene

Following Russell Wilson’s trade from the Seattle Seahawks to the Denver Broncos, the NFL quarterback and his wife, R&B singer Ciara, have made a foray into the luxury real estate market in Englewood, Colorado. The power couple has set their sights on Cherry Hills Village, an affluent suburb, where they have acquired a magnificent estate for an astounding $25 million.

Although the property was previously listed for $18 million in 2018 and later reduced to $16.5 million in 2019, the transaction for this expansive nearly 5.5-acre property took place off-market, as reported by the Denver Post. While the exact purchase price has not been disclosed, it is expected to set a new record for the highest residential property sale in the Denver area, surpassing the previous record of $16 million set in 2020 for a penthouse at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Denver.

Public records indicate that the property was sold by an LLC controlled by billionaire Gary Magness, a successful businessman, investor, and occasional film producer. Magness initially purchased the estate for $7.5 million in 2012 and undertook a complete rebuild of the house. The European-inspired faux-timbered stone and stucco mansion is tucked away at the end of a long driveway, surrounded by meticulously manicured grounds.

While Wilson and Ciara’s new Colorado residence comes at a lower price compared to their $36 million home in the Seattle area, it offers nearly double the living space. The mansion spans over 20,000 square feet across three stories and boasts four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and several powder rooms. Additionally, an apartment above the detached garage provides an extra bedroom and bathroom, ideal for guests or staff.

The grand residence showcases numerous luxurious amenities, including six fireplaces, a double-height foyer with a stunning circular staircase, and multiple entertainment spaces such as a beautifully paneled formal dining room and a lacquered library. Each guest bedroom features an en-suite bathroom, while the master suite encompasses two lavish baths, two boutique-style dressing rooms, and two studies. The property offers ample recreational options, including an indoor swimming pool and spa, a state-of-the-art screening room, and a yoga studio/gym overlooking an indoor basketball court.

Surrounded by breathtaking views of the Front Range and the Rocky Mountains, the meticulously landscaped gardens include a serene pond with a waterfall, an outdoor fireplace nestled amidst a circle of trees, and a spacious dining terrace adjacent to a vast lawn where Wilson may consider building his private football field.

Cherry Hills Village has been home to various sports stars associated with the Broncos franchise, including Peyton Manning and John Elway. Former Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan, who sold his 32,000-square-foot mansion for $15.7 million last year, used to reside just two doors down from Wilson and Ciara’s new residence.
