Actor Damson Idris Ups His Real Estate Game with Luxurious Studio City Mansion

British actor Damson Idris, best known for his role in the FX crime drama “Snowfall,” has purchased a recently renovated home in a posh neighborhood in the foothills above Studio City for $3.85 million.

Idris gained recognition and success after featuring alongside Kate Beckinsale in the movie “Farming” and in the Netflix science fiction action film “Outside the Wire” in 2018. However, his breakthrough role as a youthful heroin dealer in “Snowfall” catapulted him to fame and financial success. He will also be producing the fifth season of the show next year.

The 1964 two-story house boasts five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and has undergone recent refurbishment. The marketing brochures describe it as a “stunning Montecito modern residence” with pale European wood floorboards, designer finishes, and a home automation system for lighting, sound, and security.

The open floor plan, spanning slightly over 4,700 square feet, features a center hall entry flanked by formal living and dining rooms. The dining room is connected to a stylish eat-in kitchen with white and boldly veined black and white marble counters and gold-toned fixtures on snow-white Shaker-style cabinetry through an oversized butler’s pantry.

The family area opens to the rear, offering floor-to-ceiling windows. There are four guest bedrooms, two of which have separate bathrooms, while the other two share a large Jack-and-Jill bath. The main bedroom includes a spa-like bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a mountain view.

The backyard, dug into the steep, custom-planted hillside behind the house, is small but private and easy to maintain. It features a trapezoidal plunge pool and spa, large concrete terracing, a built-in grill and chairs, and evergreen Astroturf. With this luxurious home purchase, Damson Idris continues to establish himself in both the acting industry and his real estate investments.
