According to property documents, the comedian and daytime television host, 64, and her wife, 49, Portia de Rossi, have sold a three-bedroom, four-bathroom home in the upscale coastal community of Montecito, California, for $13.5 million.
The 2018-built residence has an open layout and ample outdoor space
According to public records, the Hollywood power couple purchased the 4,780-square-foot home for $12 million just six months ago. They acquired the property through a trust associated with a business manager who has assisted them in the purchase and sale of multiple other residences.
According to public records, they opted to list the home for $13.9 million in January. It was sold on March 11, but records of the transaction were only recently made public.
There’s a chic kitchen with mirrored cabinets
The vendor was Soren Urry, president of Synergy Development, a commercial real estate developer based in Park City, Utah. The property was acquired through a California-registered limited liability company, according to PropertyShark records. Mr. Urry did not respond to a request for comment immediately.
Photos of the home’s listing reveal that it was constructed in 2018 and features black casement doors and windows throughout.

“Floor-to-ceiling pocket doors that lead to a private garden with fountains and lush plants blur the distinction between indoor and outdoor living spaces,” according to the listing with Riskin Partners Estate Group. The agents involved in the transaction refused to comment on this article.
According to the listing photos, the home also features an open floor plan and a stylish eat-in kitchen with mirrored cabinetry.
There are four bedrooms
One bedroom wing is located on either side of the primary living area. According to the listing, the master bedroom has two wardrobes and a marble bathroom with an additional shower outside.
Photos of the listing indicate that additional features include wine storage, a massage treatment room, a billiards area, and outdoor dining and leisure areas. In addition, there is a separate studio that can serve as a gym, office, or guest residence.

Ms. DeGeneres and Ms. de Rossi have completed several real estate transactions along the coast of Southern California. They paid $20.95 million for a nearly 12,000-square-foot mansion in Montecito earlier this month and $49 million for the 4-acre estate of comedian Dennis Miller in December 2020. In the same year, they sold their estate inspired by Bali for over $33 million.
