The telegraph reported on February 10, 2020, that Gates purchased the ‘aqua’, a hydrogen-powered superyacht with an estimated price tag of $644 million.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The yacht’s manufacturer, Sinot, has since disclosed that this is false.In recent days, various international media outlets have reported that sinot yacht architecture & design has sold its concept ‘aqua’ (presented at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show) to bill gates.

These articles are factually inaccurate,’ states a document on the website of the sinot.

 

Hydrogen stored at extremely low temperatures in two 28-ton, vacuum-isolated containers provides the energy for the aqua. A spiral staircase in the middle of the vessel leads to the bottom deck, where these monoliths are housed behind glass designed to keep the liquid hydrogen at -253°C (-423.4°F) stable.
