Taylor Swift ɑcquirеd a splеndid rеsidеnce on Cornеlia Strееt, intеnding for hеr and hеr boyfriеnd, Travis Kеlce, to spеnd their lеisure timе togеther

In spite of rumors suggesting a breakup between Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, fɑns persist in visiting her former apartment on Cornelia Street, even though the possibility of her returning to that location seems uncertain.

Referenced in the ninth track of Taylor Swift’s seventh studio album, “Lover,” the song “Cornelia Street” alludes to an apartment she once owned in New York City’s West Village and the early stages of her relationship, widely presumed to be with actor Joe Alwyn.

The apartment, situated a quarter mile west of Wɑshington Square Park, lies in one of the city’s most exclusive and expensive districts, approximately 15 minutes by subway from Midtown. Swift reportedly paid around $39,500 a month to rent this three-story home from Curbed, using it as an alternative residence while one of her three Tribeca properties underwent repairs. Eventually, she sold it for $11.5 million about a year later.

Despite being listed as a three-story structure, the mansion also includes a basement with a gym, an indoor pool, and a spacious rooftop patio. As of January 2023, the house became available for rent at $45,000 per month, and by April 2023, the rental rate increased to $50,000 monthly.

Originally constructed in 1870 as a carriage house, the mansion underwent renovations to become a luxurious 5,500-square-foot single-family residence with a drive-in garage, catering to celebrities seeking discreet entrances and exits away from media attention. Most windows in the building, as reported by People, provide views of the backyard, ensuring Swift’s privacy during her stay.

The main bathroom features a skylight, a glass-enclosed shower, and a marble bathtub. Swift reportedly enjoyed chilly fall days in the apartment, taking advantage of the marble hearth and wood-burning fireplace in the second-floor living room.

The dining area, offering a view of the West Village, seamlessly flows into the newly renovated kitchen designed with an open concept. The indoor pool, measuring 5.5 feet deep, is complemented by a lounge space featuring a second fireplace and an outdoor patio. The ground floor encompasses a gallery area, a gym, and a garden.
