Exploring the Luxurioᴜs $31 мillion Bel Air мɑnsion of Lakers Stɑr Anthony Davis

After inking a lucrative $190 мillion contract with the Lakers, NBA star Anthony Davis made a significant investment by acquiring a new residence in Los Angeles a few months later.

The Real Deal first reported that Davis, a Chicago native, secured an impressive mansion in Bel Air Crest, an exclusive guard-gated community nestled between Bel Air and the San Fernando Valley.

The lavish mansion, which was not publicly listed for sale, commanded a hefty price tag of $31 мillion, with Davis securing a $20.1 мillion mortgage.

The property, situated on a 3.5-acre promontory in Bel Air Crest, is the largest and most opulent in the neighborhood, boasting approximately 20,000 square feet of living space.

Offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island, the estate features eight bedrooms, nine-and-a-half bathrooms, and was originally completed in 2010 for the Changs, a local family.

Previously owned by Ted Foxman, a retired semiconductor executive turned real estate developer, the mansion underwent extensive renovations, with vibrant touches added to the interiors.

The residence features a solarium-like atmosphere with a massive dome atop the double-height vestibule. Various amenities include a music room for guitar sessions, a games room with a wet bar, a wine cellar, a movie theatre, and a 120-foot-long Olympic-quality pool that serves as the property’s focal point.

Davis, who had previously owned a mansion in Westlake Village, opted for this luxurious Bel Air Crest property, while Ted Foxman downsized to a $13.8 мillion mansion in Encino after more than tripling his investment in the Bel Air sale to Davis—highlighting the dynamic real estate shifts in the lives of these high-profile individuals.
