Meghan Trainor, known for being “all about that space”, has listed her 7,174-square-foot Los Angeles farmhouse, formerly owned by Megan Fox, for just under $6M. The five-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bathroom mansion, once Bing Crosby’s carriage house, showcases a blend of original 1936 architecture and a newer 2008 wing.
Trainor purchased the farmhouse from Megan Fox in July 2016 before marrying Daryl Sabara in December 2018. The singer, now a new mother, has moved into a larger property in Encino, approximately 10,000 square feet, worth $6.6 million. The Encino property features a plunge pool and a massive gaming arcade.
The farmhouse boasts an open floor plan with a living and dining room in the original wing and a kitchen and living room in the newer wing. The primary bedroom suite opens to a trellised patio dining area. The property includes a three-car garage, two guest houses with a dance studio, recording studio, and a gym, along with a citrus tree grove. Originally Bing Crosby’s carriage house, the property underwent expansions in 1979 and subsequent additions in 2008. Trainor completed work on guest homes, patio trellis, and the spa. The listing mentions a wine cellar in the home.
Trainor’s move aligns with her growing family, anticipating the arrival of her 3-month-old newborn boy, Riley. The property, surrounded by tall hedges and oak trees, offers privacy and a blend of historic charm and modern amenities.
