Brad Pitt Seals Comparable Real Estate Deals: Sells Los Feliz Estate for $33 Million and Acquires a Stylish 1960s Midcentury Modern Home for $5.5 Million

According to Mansion Global, Hollywood actor and Oscar winner Brad Pitt has recently engaged in two real estate transactions of similar magnitude. Reportedly, he discreetly sold his expansive two-acre estate in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, for a substantial $33 million.

In a parallel move, Pitt has reportedly invested $5.5 million in a chic 1960s midcentury modern home, showcasing his ongoing interest in diverse and architecturally intriguing properties. Pitt, known for his real estate ventures in Southern California, has previously owned and sold residences in Goleta, Malibu, Beverly Hills, and acquired a historic beachfront estate in Carmel for $40 million last year, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. Additionally, he owns a vineyard in France, a pᴜrcҺase valued at no less than $60 million.

The recent acquisition, known as the “Steel House,” is situated in the affluent Los Feliz neighborhood and was designed by renowned architect Neil Johnson. Mark Haddawy, celebrated for his architectural revitalization expertise, oversaw a transformation of the property, resulting in a bright and airy residence with glass walls throughout. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom house, while modest in size for a celebrity, spanning just over 2,000 square feet, emanates a distinct modern allure.

The “Steel House” features a powder-blue color scheme in the kitchen and primary bathroom, with the latter boasting stone showers and tubs, terrazzo floors, and sliding doors. The property is complemented by a magnificent backyard garden, surrounding a patio, pool, sauna, and a cold-plunge tub fashioned from an ancient barrel. Pitt’s choice of this clean, modern abode exemplifies his keen architectural sensibility.
