The Los Angeles Lakers standout, Russell Westbrook, is reportedly listing his Brentwood residence for $30 million amid ongoing trade speculations.

Westbrook, a former MVP and a ten-time All-Star recently signing with the Lakers, acquired the newly constructed mansion for $19.75 million in 2018.

Previously owned by Australian actor Anthony LaPaglia, known for “Without a Trɑce,” the property is situated in Brentwood Park, an upscale area that has housed notable personalities like Judd Apatow and Al Michaels. Westbrook’s home, spanning half an acre, is conveniently located a few blocks away from one of LeBron James’ numerous estates.

Encompassing approximately 13,000 square feet, this bespoke residence features 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and incorporates a mix of wood, marble, and glass in its communal spaces. The living area offers added luxuries such as a wine cellar, wet bar, and home theater, complemented by a vaulted ceiling and custom-built-ins.

The second-floor balcony and deck provide scenic views of the verdant backyard, complete with a pool, spa, and play area. Adding a touch of basketball spirit, the patio is equipped with a basketball hoop.

The property is currently listed by two real estate agents: Donnell Beverly Jr. of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties and Bjorn Farrugia of Hilton & Hyland.

Westbrook, originally from Long Beach, earned acclaim at Leuzinger High School before serving as a two-time captain for the UCLA Bruins, guiding them to the national championship game.

The 33-year-old, former NBA MVP, is poised to join the Lakers in the 2021 NBA Draft after stints with the Thunder, Rockets, and Wizards. Westbrook previously resided in Los Angeles, purchasing a Beverly Crest home from reality TV star Scott Disick for $4.375 million in 2015.
