Erling Haaland is considering settling down in Manchester and has expressed interest in purchasing Paul Pogba’s £3 мillion residence.
The Norwegian, who recently joined Manchester City after a successful two and a half years with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, is currently in search of a new home and has set his sights on Pogba’s estate.
Pogba, a Frenchman, owns a five-bedroom property in affluent Hale Barns, Cheshire. However, with his departure from Manchester United, he no longer requires the residence. The Sun reports that, considering his unlikely return to the Premier League, a potential trade could be on the horizon.
Pogba’s £3 million house, available for rent at an astonishing £30,000 per month, boasts amenities such as a gym, heated swimming pool, and sauna. However, the highlight is the personalized indoor pitch named the P.P. Arena, featuring small goals, an electronic scoreboard, LED lights, and Pogba’s logo in the middle circle.
With Pogba’s contract with Manchester United concluded, he is poised to sign with Juventus, the club he left in 2016. Both Pogba and Haaland are represented by the same management company, potentially facilitating the transition. The monthly rent for the property is £30,000.
Eager to settle in swiftly and make an impact at City, Haaland is keen on finding a new residence promptly. Paul and Erling share the same management team, and considering Pogba’s experience at United, it is unlikely he will return to the UK, making the sale or rental of his home a viable option.
Haaland’s addition is expected to enhance City’s team, which clinched the Premier League title last month for the fourth time in five years. Manager Pep Guardiola, who has been playing without a recognized No. 9, may need to adapt his style to accommodate Haaland.
