Rod Stewart put his fаncy LA home back on the market for $80 million, only a few months after selling it for $70 million. The 9-bedroom, 12-bathroom California estate has a main house that is 28,000 square feet and a guest house that is 12,000 square feet. What makes it stand out is its formal European style. The house is at the end of a private drive that winds around and around. There is a circular fountain in front of the main house, which sits on three acres of land.

Mansion Global says the singer bought the home in North Beverly Park in 1991 for $12.08 million. It is in a gated community. The home was designed by Los Angeles architect Richard Landry to look like a grand European chateau. It has patterned marble floors, a library with lots of wood panels, crystal chandeliers, and lots of intricate moldings.

In the great room, there is a platform with a grand piano. The formal silk balloon drapes and plaster ceiling details give the room a look that feels like it has been there for hundreds of years.

Twenty people can eat in the formal dining room. It feels stately because of the marble floor, marble bust, gilded dining chairs, and regal table.

The main suite has a sitting area that leads out to the terrace and an ormolu mirror and fireplace with lots of intricate designs.With its wild marble floor and bar area, the speakeasy is a fun place to visit thanks to its juniper green paint job.Rod’s closet is a great place to store and show off his collection of shoes.The barrel-shaped roofline at the back of the house is mirrored in a half-circle tiled spa.Rod used to play football and is a fan of the Scottish Celtic F.C. A full football pitch shows how much the rock star loves the game.
