Katy Perry is no longer a resident of Beverly Crest. After selling her guesthouse for $7.475M, the pop star recently sold her main residence for $18M – the same sum she paid for it in 2017.
The transaction comes as no surprise. She relocated to Montecito with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, in 2020, spending $14.2M on a magnificent nine-acre compound.
The Regency-style property, built in the 1950s but refurbished later, boasts dramatic style over 5,400 square feet. The entry is extravagant as well, with large gates opening to a quarter-mile driveway surrounded by trees and bushes.
The doorway is framed by ivy and oval-shaped windows, which lead to spaces such as a sky-lit gallery, step-down living room, and wood-paneled library with a fireplace. The teal-colored primary suite, which includes a fireplace, marble bathtub, and garden terrace, is another standout.
The rest of the floor plan is filled with amenities such as a gym, sauna, and cold plunge. A swimming pool and spa are located outside, overlooking the canyons.
The listing was held by Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland. The buyer was represented by Rodeo Realty Beverly Hills Peter Maurice and Tregg Rustad.
Perry, a Santa Barbara native, has recorded six studio albums over the last two decades, including singles like “Dark Horse”, “Teenage Dream”, and “I Kissed a Girl”. In August 2020, the 37-year-old published her latest album, “Smile”, and gave birth to her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in the same month.
