Kanye West, popularly known as Ye, is a rapper, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer from the United States. One of the world’s best-selling music artists with 160 million records sold, West has won 24 Grammy Awards, the joint tenth-most of all time and most awarded for any hip-hop artist jointly with Jay-Z.
Kanye has had a long-standing interest in timepieces, and his collection does not disappoint. While Rolexes make up the majority of his collection, he also has watches by Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, and Richard Mille.
Kanye West’s Cartier Crɑsh Watch
The Cartier Crɑsh is one of the most unusual pieces that West has been seen wearing. The asymmetric, distorted casing and dial of the Crɑsh set it apart. Cartier first debuted The Crɑsh in 1967, and it has subsequently been rereleased several times. On the secondary market, the Crɑsh is not a cheap piece. A sculpture from 1970 sold at auction for roughly $800,000, while a more recent counterpart from 2003 sold for $137,500 last year.
Kanye West’s Richard Mille RM010 Skeleton Dial
Ye has previously been photographed sporting watches from some of the most recognizable Swiss watch brands. West was spotted wearing an RM010 by Richard Mille. The RM010 is one of Richard Mille’s oldest models, and secondary market values can vary quite a bit. On the gray market, you can get one for between $160,000 and $250,000.
Kanye West’s Patek Philippe Nautilus Champagne Diamond Dial 3800/1J
Kanye has also been seen wearing a Patek Philippe, although an older one, over the years. West was spotted wearing a gorgeous yellow-gold Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 3800/1J with a gold dial. On the secondary market, you can get one of these pieces for roughly $110,000.
Kanye West’s Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph 49150
Kanye West was spotted sporting a gold Vacheron Constantin Chronograph to the Grammy Awards. Vacheron Constantin watches, particularly the Overseas, have recently grown in popularity and value as part of the “Holy Trinity of Swiss watchmakers” (together with Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet). The gold Vacheron Constantin Overseas chronograph Ref. 49150 will set you back $135,000 on the secondary market due to heightened demand.
Kanye West’s Rolex Daytona Black Tahitian MOP Dial 116518
Kanye’s other Daytona is a little more distinctive. The yellow gold case of West’s Daytona Ref. 116518-0073 is paired with a Tahitian Mother of Pearl dial. This Daytona is no longer available, however, it is available on the secondary market for $43,000.
Kanye West’s Rolex Submariner Blue Dial 116618
Ye has been singing about Rolex since the beginning, so it’s no surprise that he has a sizable Rolex collection. Kanye has a thing with gold watches, specifically gold Rolexes. Almost all of the timepieces I’ve seen him wear are gold. Kanye has been seen wearing a gold Rolex Submariner with a blue dial. Kanye appears to be wearing the older Ref. 116618, rather than the newer Ref. 126618. This gold Submariner may be found on the secondary market for roughly $48,000.
Kanye West’s Rolex Yacht-Master II 116688
In addition to the gold Submariner, Kanye West also owns one of the more, shall I sɑy obscure, Rolexes. The gold Rolex Yacht-Master II Ref. 116688 currently retails for $43,550 but sells on the secondary market for around $50,000.
Kanye West’s Rolex Daytona Chocolate Dial 116515
The next timepiece in Kanye West’s watch collection is the Rolex Daytona. Kanye’s Daytona Ref. 116515 currently is for sale on the grey market for around $67,000.
