Renowned Afrobeat artist Davido marked his 31st birthday by sharing personal photos featuring his wife and their newly born twins.

The acclaimed singer-songwriter posted endearing photographs of his wife, Chioma Rowland, and their twin infants, Taiwo and Kehinde David, on social media. He employed emojis to conceal the infants’ faces.

Accompanying the images was a succinct yet heartfelt comment from Davido expressing gratitude to God, stating, “Big 31. Thank you, God.”

Davido opted to share images of his children with the public a year after the tragic incident of his son Ifeanyi’s drowning at his residence in Lekki, Nigeria.

In a recent interview, Davido discussed the impact of the deаth of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyichukwu Adeleke, and how it affected him when he learned he was expecting twins.

He shared, ‘When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month, happened in October, and my wife gave birth in October, it’s crаzy.’

The renowned musician expressed appreciation for his support network, acknowledging their presence during the difficult time of dealing with the tragic loss of his son.

I was on the brink of giving up. I thought I would never regain the ability to sing again,” Davido expressed. He continued, saying, ““I felt like I came back in double, even though I had my most successful year, released my greatest album, and my wife gave birth to twins, a gorgeous boy and a girl.”
