Billie Eilish’s Dazzling Dwellings: A Sneak Peek into Her Extraordinary Homes

Billie Eilish, a worldwide celebrity with a net worth in the tens of мιIIιоnꜱ, lives with her parents in Highland Park, a small Los Angeles suburb on the Eastside. But the 19-year-old singer has invested. Eilish’s elder brother owns three expensive L.A. properties, so she may have a good eye for real estate.

Eilish’s second studio album, “Happier Than Ever,” verifies that hypothesis with lyrics more intimate and real than her previous work. “NDA,” the album’s 13th tune and fifth single, shows that best. Eilish’s ꜱtruggle to get a “pretty boy” to sign “an NDA” is referenced in the song. “Bought a ꜱеϲгеt house when I was seventeen,” the tune says.

Anonymously purchasing a house is hard anywhere, but in Hollywood, it’s almost impossible for a renowned musician. Eilish stealthily bought a property in 2019, according to a variety of signs.

All the evidence lead to a picturesque equestrian estate in Glendale, Calif., approximately 10 minutes northwest of Highland Park. For one, “X Factor” winner Leona Lewis, widely known for her 2009 worldwide #1 Һιt “Bleeding Love,” sold the home in October 2019 for $2.3 million, according to property records. Eilish was 17 then.

Due of the seller’s popularity, media sources publicized the transaction. The buyer was never named. The property is registered to a мyꜱtегy trust linked to a New York City office where Eilish’s longstanding business managers work. Eilish’s brother Finneas’ realtor represented the unknown buyer.

Best of all, the estate is designated for horses and includes its own four-stall stables, tack room, arena, and feed room, which Eilish has called her “favorite things in the world.” She won’t say whether she has a horse.

The mansion is concealed from the street between gigantic 10-foot gates and an even higher hedge on a cul-de-sac. Naturally, there is a sophisticated security system and brick pillars with scary-looking lion statues. Beyond the gates is a 2,100-square-foot, single-story ranch home constructed in the 1950s but refurbished, a guesthouse, a horse-keeper’s apartment, a goat enclosure, and a paddock.

In 2013, Lewis renovated the swimming pool, adding a sundeck and a sunken discussion pit. The main home features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, hardwood flooring, and foldaway glass doors for indoor/outdoor living. A newish kitchen with wҺιte Shaker cabinetry and high-end stainless equipment.

Glendale is best known for its Porto’s Bakery, its large Armenian population (one of the largest outside Armenia), and the Glendale Galleria, where Eilish filmed her “Therefore I Am” music video. Many people don’t aware that at least 800 horse-zoned properties in the city, including Eilish’s new home, are the final bastions of a Kentucky-esque, pastoral lifestyle near downtown Los Angeles.
