Project Echo: Unveiling a ‘Dangerously Beautiful’ Superyacht Vision for Discerning Owners

Canadian design firm ER Yacht Design has unveiled the striking renderings of its 61-meter superyacht concept, known as Project Echo. This motor yacht concept, described as possessing “dangerous beauty,” has been designed for Turquoise Yachts in Turkey.

Project Echo stands out with its gracefully elongated lines that seamlessly flow from bow to stern, harmonizing perfectly with its sporty and commanding design. The semi-displacement yacht features meticulously sculpted surfaces on its hull and superstructure, along with generous large windows that lend its profile a distinctive character.

The design inspiration for the extensive wraparound side windows draws from the eye of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, prioritizing both aesthetics and functionality. These large, elevated windows extend throughout the yacht’s length, offering unrivaled vistas for guests.

The expansive and luxurious exterior decks of this 899 GT superyacht have been thoughtfully designed for entertainment. Its upper deck can comfortably accommodate up to 35 guests, and its foldable aft sides can be extended to create a beach club complete with a 6-meter-long pool.

One of the distinctive design elements of Project Echo is the staircase leading from the main deck to the upper deck, which is constructed around the pool and is not integrated into the superstructure. This design approach ensures that the steps are slender and transparent, transforming them into a design feature rather than an obstruction.

The interior design across Project Echo’s four decks matches the grandeur of its exterior. On the main deck, the spacious saloon and dining area are enveloped by full-height windows that flood the space with natural light and offer nearly unobstructed 300-degree views.

For the owner’s ultimate privacy and comfort, the upper deck of Project Echo is exclusively reserved for their accommodation. The remaining six staterooms are located on the main deck, each featuring luxurious full-height windows that promise guests a truly unique experience.

Project Echo’s performance is highly efficient, thanks to its semi-displacement hull, which can operate as a displacement hull with smaller engines, achieving a maximum speed of 17 knots. Equipped with larger engines, the fast-displacement hull can attain a remarkable top speed of 27 knots.

This collaboration between Turquoise Yachts and ER Yacht Design marks a remarkable debut, characterized by “restrained flair and unrestrained performance.” Turquoise Yachts currently has seven custom-built yachts in various stages of construction, with six of them already sold.
