Lizzo’s Blissful Treetop Retreat: Embracing Joy and Body Positivity in Her Enchanting Treehouse Home

Hard to imagine Lizzo has only been famous for three years. Since then, the Grammy-winning, bestselling, and often controversial rapper and songwriter has built a global fanbase of mιllιons, had a single and album top the Billboard charts, and launched a clothing company and an Emmy-winning TV show. The 34-year-old currently lives in the 90210, where she bought Harry Styles’ former mansion.

The oak tree-studded property, hidden in a gated neighborhood high in the foothills above Beverly Hills, has a musical history. Styles resided there from 2014–2016. He sold it at a mιllιon-dollar loss to husband-and-wife partnership Simo Design, who designed Jon Hamm and Nicole Richie’s homes. The team worked with Fischer Construction to build a larger, more beautiful mansion to replace the Styles residence.

The 5,300-square-foot modernist treehouse is luxurious. Aaron Bay-Schuck, Warner Records CEO and experienced music professional, bought the 2019 mansion for $11 mιllιon. After three years, Bay-Schuck sold the mansion to Lizzo for $15 mιllιon. Bay-Schuck now owns a $22 mιllιon Beverly Hills mansion once owned by Sofia Richie.

The residence has three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and two powder rooms behind two walls and gates. A revolving entrance door opens into a double-height foyer, and an open-air atrium in the centre of the home houses a fig tree. Natural light enters most of the main level, including the minimalist formal dining and living areas.

The kitchen features quartzite stone, oil-rubbed walnut cabinetry, a ceramic brick bookcase, and Ipe wood balconies. The approximately 1,000-square-foot master suite upstairs has a marble slab wall between the bedroom and bathroom. A “floating” soapstone fireplace, concrete soaking tub, and glass-topped island walk-in closet are also included.

Lizzo has flaunted her new home. The Detroit-born, Houston-bred “Truth Hurts” singer has tweeted photographs and videos of her twerking on a soundproof movie theater, grassy meadows, and several wooden decks. The 58-foot infinity pool under the master bedroom suite overlooks the oak tree-filled canyons below.
