Discover NBA Sensation Blake Griffin’s Luxurious $11M Pacific Palisades Mansion

Blake Gryphon is willing to sell his Pacific Palisades estate for $10.995 million. According to Variety, the NBA star previously listed the sprawling, 9,572-square-foot property for an exorbitant price of $12 million, but chose to reduce the asking price this time—a shrewd move considering he’ll be spending more time in Detroit over the next five years. Gryphon was the original proprietor of the three-story, six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom mansion with a modified Colonial design.

The residence is hidden from public view by a row of tall trees and stands behind locked gates on nearly one-third of an acre. Inside the entrance, the high ceilings are illuminated by an abundance of natural light, and the espresso-stained hardwood floors provide a striking contrast to the white walls. A grand staircase ascends away from the expansive foyer, which leads to a formal living room directly opposite the front entrance. There, a contemporary fireplace is flanked by built-in shelving, and glass sliding doors lead out to the rear. Directly to the right of the foyer is the formal dining room, which features a double-coffered ceiling that elevates the space.

The bright and expansive kitchen, which features a six-seat island and opens to the family room, is also located on the ground floor. A flat-screen television is mounted above a second fireplace, and another set of glass exterior doors offer expansive views of a deep poolside loggia; an office and guest bedroom with en suite complete the ground floor. Three en suite bedrooms and one master suite with vaulted ceilings, a spacious sitting area with a private fireplace and balcony, two dressing rooms lined with glass-frosted wardrobes, and a bathroom with a large soak tub and marble-lined steam shower are located on the second floor. The subterranean level is ideal for entertaining, featuring a family and games room with multiple televisions, a home theatre with a 130-inch screen and burgundy velour wall panels, and a fitness room. Additionally, a sixth en suite bedroom is located beneath. Outside, the property features a number of loggias ideal for lounging (along with a few hanging rattan seats), an outdoor kitchen and dining pavilion, a single-hoop basketball court, and a large saltwater pool with a spa as an added amenity.
