Shaq’s Ferrari F355 Spider With Big Boy Cabin Space

A 1998 Ferrari F355 Spider, rumoured to have been owned by Shaquille O’Neal, is presently available for purchase – and it’s a particularly rare example.

This is because the retired NBA player had the cabin capacity of his Italian supercar expanded. As a result, the gasoline tank was moved to the front of the vehicle, the soft top was replaced with a unique tonneau cover, and a pair of aftermarket seats with racing harnesses and ‘Superman’ logos imprinted on the headrests were installed.

The F355 Spider has 19-inch Giovanna wheels, Brembo brakes, custom audio, and, of course, a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V8 rated at 375 horsepower and 268 pound-feet (368 Nm) of torque mated to a six-speed automated manual transmission. The Italian supercar can accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than five seconds and has a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h).

The F355 Spider is listed on BringaTrailer with no reserve price and is located in Naperville, Illinois. It is accompanied by official letters from Ferrari North America, partial service documents dating back to 2013, an accident-free report, and a clean California title.

With the online auction concluding on December 30, there is still time to make a bid despite the current high bid of $35,000.
