Exclusive Glimpse into Metro Boomin’s Lavish Hilltop Villa: Where Luxury Meets Extravagance

Before his debut studio album, 2018’s #1 Billboard chart-topper “Not All Heroes Wear Capes,” Metro Boomin was a hip-hop mogul. The 28-year-old Missouri native, Leland Tyler Wayne, started composing beats in high school and networked with hip-hop musicians on Twitter. After meeting Gucci Mane and Future online, he became famous eight years ago.

Metro has since created songs for Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Lana Del Rey. His career highlights include Migos’ “Bad and Boujee,” which was certified 4x platinum and reached #1 on the Billboard Hоt 100, and Post Malone’s “Congratulations,” which was certified Diamond at 10x platinum. “Sɑvɑge Mode II,” a 2020 collaboration with 21 Sɑvɑge, topped the Billboard 200.

The serial hitmaker spent $4.9 mιllιon on an eccentric house after his breakthrough. A local contractor and his wife erected the flat-roofed, slightly squat house on speculation in the guard-gated Bell Canyon enclave in the San Fernando Valley’s farthest reaches.

The mansion sits well above the street on more than an acre of hillside ground, with “spectacular country and city views.” A lengthy concrete road runs up and around to the huge motorcourt, which fronts a four-car garage with tandem parking.

Bell Canyon’s steep slopes surround the boxy residence. The 6,200-square-foot house has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and a powder room.

Open, unadorned interiors were designed. Instead, walls of glass and expansive views dominate, with muted oak flooring and white ceilings throughout.
