Sung Kang Takes the Wheel of Tuned Nissan Z in Fast & Furious Film

Japanese tuner VeilSide has unveiled its most recent creation, an extensively modified version of the new Nissan Z that has all the makings of a movie star. Because both VeilSide and Sung Kang, who portrays Han in the “Fast & Furious” film franchise, have teased the vehicle.

Kang refers to the vehicle as “Han’s 400Z” while VeilSide and the auto show refer to it as the FFZ400. The vehicle is scheduled to make its official début at the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon from January 14 to 16.

These images reveal that the bodywork of the standard Nissan Z has been extensively modified, and we have previously seen images of the front bumper, which has been extended forward and sharpened.

Now, side skirts and large fender extensions with visible fasteners can be observed. At the rear, the body kit creates a sharp spoiler with vertical winglets that lend the vehicle a bit of a Batmobile appearance.

Unlike the iconic movie car, this one is not entirely black, but rather black and orange. Both the vertical winglets and the central portion of the canopy are painted with an ombre fade of the VeilSide logo.

According to Veilside’s technical sheet for the Tokyo Auto Salon, the vehicle will continue to be propelled by a 3.0-liter VR30DDTT engine that generates 400 horsepower (298 kW/405 PS) in its standard configuration. We do not know the extent of VeilSide’s modifications, but we do know that it will have a custom exhaust and an ECU calibration, so it will likely have more power.
