After joining the Premier League, ex-Real Madrid player Casemiro, 30, will receive 24-hour security, SunSport can confirm.

A source said: “This transfer may have come about quite quickly but bosses at United have been working around the clock to make sure everything’s in place to help their new man settle in quickly.

“He will stay in a hotel, but the club is helping him find local properties. The club is also providing protection from the minute he arrives in the nation until he finds a residence.

 

 

 

 

“Many foreign stars underestimate the extent of criminals’ off-field threats and risks. United are protecting their new star acquisition at all costs.”

Casemiro follows ex-United player Wayne Rooney, who increased security around his Cheshire property after moving to the US to coach DC United.
