Witness the International Debut of the Wallywhy150 at Cannes

The Italian shipyard Wally Yachts, a Ferretti Group marque, has announced that its wallywhy150 will make its international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2023.

The yacht is the smaller sibling of the wallywhy200 and utilizes the same design team to deliver a high-volume platform from the drawings of the Wally-Ferretti Group Engineering team and Studio Vallicelli Design. It made its debut at the Venice Boat Show.

The 150GT superyacht has a number of features that are exclusive to her size class, including an owner’s cabin located in the bow that offers unrivaled 270-degree vistas. The use of glass continues in the main saloon, which features ample windows on both sides and a direct connection to the aft cockpit from the dining saloon, which is on a slightly lower level than the forward saloon.

Additional accommodations are available on the lower deck, which can be configured as either one VIP, one double, and one twin cabin, or two VIP cabins.

Al fresco living is an integral part of the wallywhy design, and the yacht features a spacious aft deck with a hydraulic multipurpose ladder and a raising platform. This area can be configured as desired, allowing owners to transport a variety of water toys as well as a large, 3.9-metre tender.

The sundeck, meanwhile, stretches nearly the entire length of the yacht and features a sunbathing area and a shaded lounge.

The wallywhy150 can attain a maximum speed of 23 knots when propelled by three IPS1350 engines (as selected on hull one), or 21 knots with the standard propulsion of three IPS1200 engines.

She will be accompanied by a number of other debuting yachts from Ferretti Group’s portfolio of brands, including Riva’s brand-new 82 Diva, at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
