Doja Cat Takes a Daring Leap from her Boho-Chic Beverly Hills Mansion

She has to be a feline! Doja Cat, the TikTok meme queen-turned-international pop music superstar, has already purred out of her Los Angeles residence less than a year after purchasing it. Yes, everyone’s favourite eccentric celebrity has advertised her home for sale for just under $2.5 million, a modest profit over the $2.2 million she paid for it in February 2021.

During her brief ownership, the 26-year-old Los Angeles native made a number of enhancements to the property, which is hidden away on a narrow road off Mulholland Drive, high in the rugged mountains above Beverly Hills. She installed a large wooden gate that now separates the front driveway from the public road. Obviously, the property is also protected by surveillance cameras and an alarm system.

It appears Doja Cat has already left the residence, as the majority of the rooms are vacant and staged. Nonetheless, admirers will undoubtedly recognise the interiors, as they frequently appeared in the Grammy-winning artist’s TikTok and Instagram live sessions. On the main level, a combined living-dining-family room features glass walls, whitewashed walls and ceilings, and a midcentury-style fireplace that could date back to 1960, when the home was constructed. In addition, there is a compact kitchen with curved cabinetry, quartz countertops, bar seating and high-end stainless steel appliances.

Also located on the main floor are two guest chambers, one with glass doors leading to the pool area and the other a “glam room” designed by Doja Cat herself. The master suite on the second floor of the penthouse features a spacious bedroom, a long series of wall closets, and a grey bathroom with a concrete bathtub.

The 8,000-square-foot lot is not particularly large, but the property features a heated plunge pool, multiple built-in seating areas, concrete decks, and juvenile olive trees. In addition, there is a two-car garage and driveway parking for two more vehicles.

In addition to her hit songs (“Say So,” “Like That,” and “Kiss Me More”), Doja Cat — whose actual name is Amala Dlamini — is known for her wardrobe of colourfully unique outfits, her fun-loving and offbeat sense of humour, and her recent feud with “Stranger Things” actor Noah Schnapp.
