Unveiling the Astonishing Sovrano: Lazzarini’s Mind-Blowing 169m Vision

Sovrano, a 169-meter superyacht, is the most recent addition to the portfolio of extreme conceptions unveiled by the Italian design firm Lazzarini.

The concept was created to accommodate either a private yacht with a single owner or a shared option for a group of owners seeking to travel the globe in privacy and, of course, luxury.

The five-deck Sovrano is distinguished by a three-story well carved into the foredeck. From within the vessel, the space functions as an atrium, with a vast swimming pool and garden at its base.

Twin helipads positioned on either side of the superstructure, resembling wings, are an additional peculiar feature. Each landing platform extends five metres from the vessel’s side, increasing the 22-metre beam to 33-metres, making Sovrano the widest superyacht ever conceived. The area is also suitable for a pool or a platform that can be raised or lowered to the waterline using four electronic pulleys.

The transom, which is equipped with two cranes connected to a lifting platform for loading and offloading various vehicles, is also noteworthy. The location is immediately adjacent to a garage that can accommodate up to two 15-foot tenders and six vehicles. Through a shell door, tenders can be launched directly into the water from the garage, while automobiles and other vehicles can be rolled onto the aft deck.

Sovrano would be constructed from a combination of steel and carbon fibre composites and powered by an all-electric propulsion system capable of 31 knots of maximum speed.
