Chili Davis’s Desert Dream Home: A Luxurious Contemporary Mansion in Arizona

In the year 2000, baseball player Chili Davis had a stunning 9,395-square-foot contemporary desert mansion constructed on a three-acre mountainside above Mummy Mountain, overlooking Paradise Valley in Arizona. The luxurious home boasts five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a separate guest casita, and a four-car garage.

As a nod to his sports career, the mansion features unique references, including a home plate-shaped firepit. The property, which was Chili Davis’s dream home, is now listed for sale at $8.5 million.

The custom home was designed and built by Salcito Custom Homes, and it truly is a masterpiece with luxurious amenities and stunning architecture. The wide windows, wood-beamed ceilings, and pocket doors create a cozy and dramatic ambiance throughout the house. On the main level, Chili Davis displayed his memorabilia in a stone “trophy wall,” showcasing his achievements as a three-time All-Star.

The chef’s kitchen boasts a spacious central island and a billiards area that opens into the living and dining spaces. Downstairs, there is a home cinema with a 3-D Art Deco skyline that replicates the look of South Beach.

However, the main attraction of the house is the huge balcony above Mummy Mountain, offering breathtaking views of the Valley. From the balcony, you can access a first-floor terrace with an infinity pool and outdoor kitchen, providing a perfect setting to enjoy the dry heat of Arizona.

Frank Aazami of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty is handling the sale of Chili Davis’s bespoke Arizona mansion, which offers luxurious living, stunning architecture, and some of the most amazing Valley views imaginable.
