Wiz Khalifa’s Epic Upgrade: Unveiling His Spectacular New Los Angeles Mansion

After living in a $16,000-per-month Los Angeles rental for roughly three years, “Black and Yellow” rapper Cameron Jibril Thomaz, also known professionally as Wiz Khalifa, spent $3.4 million on an ultra-modern home in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Encino.

Although Khalifa still possesses this residence, as well as a home in his hometown of Pittsburgh, he recently spent a little over $7.6 million to upgrade to a second opulent mansion about three miles away. No word yet on whether he has already outfitted the property with his preferred amenities, such as a marijuana bar, recording studio, and Steelers-themed game room, to name a few.

With an estimated net worth of around $60 million — derived from his successful music career, his specifically bred Khalifa Kush marijuana strain and his mobile Weed Farm game that allows players to start and tend to virtual crops — he can probably afford to add anything he desires!

This year’s construction of Khalifa’s modern farmhouse-style mansion encompasses more than 8,000 square feet of open-concept living space embellished with blonde hardwood floors, wood-beam ceilings, and designer lighting fixtures. A home office, fitness center, movie theater, and detached guesthouse are among the numerous amenities.

The two-story stucco and wood structure is fronted by a spacious motor court and an attached three-car garage — ideal for the singer’s mostly old-school auto collection, which Architectural Digest reports include a 1969 El Camino, Chevelle, muscle cars, and a Mercedes Benz.

A glass front entrance positioned beneath a porte-cochere leads to a foyer with double height. From there, an opulent living room with an impressive linear fireplace, sliding glass doors leading to the backyard, and a formal dining room with a wet bar are accessible. The family room is adjacent to a contemporary gourmet kitchen with a center island, Thermador appliances, a service bar with double-sided seating, and a breakfast nook.

Upstairs, a striking glass-lined staircase leads to the plush master retreat, which features a comfortable sitting area by the fireplace, a mini-bar, and two closets in the showroom style. The spa-inspired bathroom features dual vanities, an oval soaking tub, an enormous glass-enclosed shower, and a private balcony.

The nearly half-acre grounds feature a Baja-shelf pool and spa surrounded by a grassy lawn, a covered lounge terrace with a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen with an integrated barbecue and bar, a trellised dining area, and a basketball court. In addition, there is a 450-square-foot guesthouse with a kitchenette and bathroom.
