Unveiling the Lavish Splendor: Step Inside Rod Stewart’s Magnificent L.A. Chateau Listed at $70 Million!
Rod Stewart rocks from his Los Angeles home!
The 78-year-old British rocker listed his European-style Beverly Hills estate for $70 million. Richard Landry, who built Mark Wahlberg’s Beverly Hills compound and Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s Brentwood mega-mansion, designed it for Stewart in the 1990s.
The 38,500-square-foot property has a soccer field, motor court, and shimmering pool, along with a guest house.
Douglas Elliman’s Michelle Oliver lists it.
Before entering the columned mansion, residents can admire the motor court’s fountain. The first floor has a great room with dark wooden floors and a hand-painted bar, perfect for entertaining.
Both the den and the tea room in this house have fireplaces that burn wood and are decorated in an English manner. Both of these sitting rooms are located on the ground floor.
In the kitchen, there is a white marble center island that provides additional space for meal preparation and is complemented by white cabinetry on all other sides.
Luxury is increased for residents in the primary bedroom by the presence of dual bathrooms as well as spacious closets.
Access to the outdoor terrace that looks out over the pool is another feature of the primary suite. There is plenty of room for lounging on this terrace.
In addition, the home features a private theater room as well as a speakeasy. A relaxing jacuzzi, a built-in barbecue, and a fireplace can be found outside, in addition to an inviting swimming pool.
