Messi’s World Cup 2022 champion level: Wearing an entire mansion on his wrist, with a model that only exists in a few pieces worldwide

As one of the highest-earning superstars in the world, Messi naturally possesses a collection of luxurious and expensive items, including watches. The football player owns a collection of watches with impressive names, ranging from Jacob & Co, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, to Patek Philippe.

 Rolex Yacht Master 116655

During his visit to France in 2021 to sign a contract with PSG, Messi wore the Rolex Yacht-Master 40mm model. Introduced in 2015, the Rolex Yacht Master 116655 is the first watch model in the brand’s history to feature a rubber strap. This strap system is called the Rolex Oysterflex and is only combined with the case of the Yacht Master model, not any other iconic Rolex watch.

Beneath the outer rubber layer is a metal blade made of a titanium and nickel alloy, tightly attached to the case to shape the strap and fit the wrist. The 2015 Rolex Yacht Master appears with a black dial and a black cerachrom bezel. This watch model has a starting price of $22,300 (approximately 527 million dong) but has now increased to around $35-40,000 on luxury retail platforms.

On the dial, at the 2 o’clock position, there is a red number 10 – Messi’s jersey number at Barcelona. On the back, the sapphire crystal features the superstar’s signature.

The blue and white color scheme of the watch is inspired by the Argentine flag, Messi’s home country. According to Forbes, this watch is valued at $150,000 (3.4 biℓℓion dong). The accessory is water-resistant up to 200 meters and is limited to 180 pieces.

This stainless steel watch is priced at $77,000 (1.7 biℓℓion dong) and is no longer available on the market. The stainless steel design also ensures the watch’s water resistance up to a depth of 120 meters.
