David Beckham purchased a yacht in late 2021 and has been traveling extensively with his family on it. The yacht, which costs $6.6 miℓℓion, is nicknamed the “mini crystal palace” due to its construction using glass materials.
In December 2021, David Beckham spent $6.6 million to pᴜrcҺaꜱe the Seven yacht from the Ferretti shipyard. The yacht is named after his jersey number as a former football player and is also the middle naмe of his daughter, Harper Seven.
David Beckham visited the Ferretti shipyard to consult and customize the yacht according to his preferences. The yacht is constructed with steel and features a significant amount of glass, to the extent that Alberto Galassi, the CEO of the company, likened it to a small crystal palace.
The new luxury yacht features 5 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 guests along with a crew of 4 members.
Since acquiring the yacht, the Beckham family has been enjoying weekend cruises along the Miami coast. They have particularly cherished their time on the yacht, especially during the period leading up to their eldest son Brooklyn’s wedding, when they embarked on a joyful family trip.
The Seven yacht, measuring 28.4 meters in length, is equipped with two MTU diesel engines, providing a total power of 4,870 horsepower. This allows the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 55.56 km/h (34.5 mph) and a cruising speed of 46.3 km/h (28.8 mph).
Although not a mega-yacht or billionaire-style vessel, the Seven yacht still exudes luxury. The yacht features a superstructure made of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) and a teak deck, adding to its elegant appeal.
