The president of the hip-hop label Quality Control Music paid $10,135,000 for a waterfront estate in the Miami area.

Pierre “P” Thomas, the president of the Atlanta-based entertainment company, has purchased a nearly 7,000-square-foot home in the Miami suburb of Aventura, Florida, Mansion Global has learned. The residence was initially listed for $12.25 million at the end of the previous year, and its price was reduced to its current asking price of $10.975 million approximately one month later.

The living room

The six-bedroom, five-bathroom residence is located within a gated community and features water views, an open floor plan, and French doors leading to the backyard. Photos of the listing геᴠеаlеd that it has a foyer with 40-foot ceilings, a living room with a double-sided aquarium and a fireplace, a formal dining room, and a family room on the opposite side of the aquarium.

In addition, there is a custom kitchen with a gas range, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, a breakfast area, and outdoor access. Additionally, there is a game room and a home theatre with a popcorn machine and a confectionery station.

According to the listing, the master suite on the second floor features a separate sitting room, a walk-in closet, a private terrace, and a bathroom with a soaking tub and a separate shower.

The custom kitchen

Outside there is a pool, spa, and a covered dining area. Additionally, a 50-foot boat slip is accessible at the private marina on the island. Owners also have access to tennis facilities, a private beach, a fitness center, and a restaurant.

Chad Carroll of The Carroll Group of Compass listed the property. He declined to comment on the buyer or seller, but remarked that “the area perfectly captures the quintessential South Florida living experience.”

The home theater

The property was last sold in 2008 for $3.9 million, according to public records. The sellers could not be reached for comment.

In 2013, Mr. Thomas co-founded Quality Control Music with Kevin “Coach K” Lee. They represent Migos, City Girls, Lil Baby, and Layton Greene, among others. According to Variety, HYBE America, headed by CEO Scooter Braun, acquired the company earlier this year for $320 million in cash and stock.
