Spectacular 427-Foot Trimaran Concept: Experience the Astonishing Avian Inspiration Floating on Water

Aras Kazar has just released yet another ludicrous trimaran design.

The European yacht designer with a reputation for creating unconventional vessels unveiled a new 427-foot vessel on Thursday that is intended to resemble a bird gliding through the water. Additionally, it is certain to rile up some purists.

Named after the Lakota word for “thunder,” Wakya (or Wakinyan) is comprised of sharp, angular lines that combine to form a visually arresting silhouette. The aluminum vessel has a pointed bow and a prominent main hull, as well as two smaller outrigger hulls that resemble wings.

The main hull is furnished with expansive panels of tempered glass, which is even more intriguing. This ensures not only that the interior is flooded with natural light, but also that seafarers have access to breathtaking panoramic views. Additionally, it generates a pleasant flow between the decks.

Kazar asserts that the interior’s soft, gentle atmosphere will help you feel tranquil and at ease. Five “cloudy” staterooms and one owner’s suite can accommodate a maximum of 12 visitors. In terms of amenities, there is a supersized pool on the aft deck flanked by sunbeds, as well as a spacious spa for more private swims.

Kazar explains that Wakinyan is not one of those tediously sluggish megayachts. With an all-electric propulsion system and hydrofoil technology, the designer envisions the yacht reaching a top speed of 32 miles.

Kazar has produced “minimalist, futuristic, and sleek” ideas for the past ten years. His previous creations include a 492-foot megayacht designed to resemble an unidentified object hovering above the horizon and a 217-foot epic trimaran inspired by Noah’s Ark. In addition, he has a few more projects that will be published in the coming months, according to the creative. One might say that he is expanding his wings.
