Blake Griffin Adds $5.9M LA Home to Collection

Blake Griffin purchased a Los Angeles home built in 1936 for $5.9 million.

Blake Griffin recently purchased a two-story, 1936 home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles for $5.876 million.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home was listed for $6.698 million in May by Rodeo Realty’s Jordana Leigh. According to listing documents, it went into contract in November with a reduced price of $5.995 million and closed earlier this month for $5.876 million.

The estate is adjacent to the $19.1 million mansion Mr. Griffin purchased in April.

David Berg of Compass, the buyer’s agent in this transaction, confirmed that the 31-year-old Mr. Griffin was the buyer. He declined further comment.

The residence has approximately 5,900 square feet of living space.

There are formal living and dining rooms in addition to a family room with a fireplace in this residence.

According to property records, Mr. Griffin, who played for the Los Angeles Clippers for nearly a decade before being traded to the Detroit Pistons in 2018, spent $19.1 million on a brand-new residence in a gated community in April.

The kitchen

The main mansion, valued at $19.1 million and designed in a modern farmhouse manner, contains 10,000 square feet of living space. In addition, there is a detached two-story guesthouse and a spa-equipped pool in the rear.

According to the listing, his latest acquisition adds approximately 5,900 square feet of living space to his property portfolio, including formal living and dining rooms, a media room, a billiards room, a kitchen, and a family room with a fireplace and large windows.

According to the listing, the property has a wraparound terrace with covered seating and a fireplace, a pool with Jacuzzi, and a guest suite with its own patio. It is situated on 0.53 acres of parklike grounds hidden behind tall hedges.
