Novak Djokovic acquires a Miami Beach condominium for $6 million prior to Wimbledon
Novak Djokovic has just won another match after selling his Miami Beach condo for $6 million. Djokovic is fresh off his victory at the French Open.
The Serbian tennis player, who is presently ranked No. 1 in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals, acquired the mansion in 2019 for $5.77 million after it was constructed.
A month later, he listed the property for $7.15 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom corner residence in the luxury residences of Eighty Seven Park encompasses 2,241 square feet and features a 1,715-square-foot wraparound terrace with direct ocean views.
Real estate agent Wendy Mendoza of Cayhill & Dumott Real Estate revealed to the WSJ that Djokovic never actually resided in the unit. “When we listed, the market was soft, but obviously it picked up because of the pandemic,” Mendoza stated.
“He held firm… He was able to sell for a higher price than he paid.”
