Experience the Ritz-Carlton Cruise with a Price Tag of $6,400 per Person for a One-Week Trip

In the future years, the luxury hotel brand intends to launch two more yachts

The Ritz-Carlton cruise has finally departed, according to a company press release. On October 15, Evrima, the first of three superyachts designed and constructed for the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, set sail from Barcelona, Spain, to Nice, France, for a seven-day maiden voyage. As a result of ongoing supply chain issues, the construction of the vessel was delayed by more than three years, much to the dismay of some.

Chris Gabaldon, senior vice president for luxury brands at Marriott International, said in a statement, “The Ritz-Carlton has always been rooted in innovation and service excellence, with a commitment to being at the forefront of delivering transformative travel experiences.” “As we continue to evolve our legendary brand, we could not be happier to offer our guests a new way to experience the Ritz-Carlton.”

The luxury hotel chain intends to combine the Ritz-Carlton resort lifestyle with the “casual freedom” of a vessel. Unsurprisingly, the cruise ship is marketed as an ultra-luxurious experience, with amenities such as a Ritz-Carlton spa, nightclub, infinity pool, and wine repository.

The 149 suites are outfitted with private terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows to provide breathtaking ocean vistas. In addition, each room features a king-size bed, restrooms with double vanities, and luxurious linens. Loft-style suites spanning two floors and the 1,091-square-foot owner’s suite with a private hot tub are available for guests desiring an even grandiose experience.

Still, a trip with the Ritz is not inexpensive. CNN reports that Caribbean cruises begin at $5,100 per week per person, while Mediterranean cruises begin at $6,400 per person. The brand is committed to providing an experience worthy of the steep price. Guests will have access to multiple fine dining venues, a gym, water activities from the yacht’s marina, musical performances, and expert-led talks and lectures while onboard.

The Ritz-Carlton cruise believes that the ship’s diminutive size, at 623 feet, is an asset. For instance, most Carnival Cruise Line ships exceed 900 feet in length, but the Ritz-Carlton cruise believes this to be an advantage. The company boasts some of the largest space-to-guest and staff-to-guest ratios; the boat can accommodate up to 298 passengers simultaneously.

Evrima will travel through the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America depending on the season. The ship will visit both intimate and renowned destinations, and the brand guarantees that no two itineraries will ever be identical.
