Russell Wilson and Ciara Spend $25M on a Mansion in the Denver Area to Spend the Rest of Their Lives in

After being traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Denver Broncos, where he’ll make $24 M this year, the star quarterback and his R&B singer/philanthropist wife Ciara set their money-is-no-object real estate sights on Englewood, Colo.

The Denver Post claimed that the supersized purchαѕє failed when the property was advertised for $18 M and $16.5 M in 2018 and 2019. The almost 5.5-acre property is projected to surpass Denver’s residential property record, established in 2020 when a penthouse above downtown’s Four Seasons Hotel sold for $16 M. Transaction records remain unreleased.

The seller is an LLC run by wealthy Gary Magness, a businessman, investor, and film director whose credits include “Precious.” (His cable TV pioneer father Bob Magness left him plenty of money.) Magness renovated the $7.5 M property. A lengthy driveway passes over the estate’s groomed grounds and the European-inspired faux-timbered stone and stucco mansion.

Wilson and Ciara’s new Colorado home cost much less than the $36 M they’re asking for their Seattle-area home, but they almost doubled their living space, going from 11,000 square feet with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms to over 20,000 square feet with four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and several powder rooms. A separate garage with a guest apartment adds a bedroom and bath.

The three-story house contains six fireplaces, a double-height lobby with a floating circular staircase, a paneled formal dining room, and a lacquered library. The master bedroom boasts two luxury baths, two boutique-style dressing rooms, and two studies. All guestrooms are en suite. A state-of-the-art movie room, yoga studio/gym overlooking an indoor basketball court, and indoor pool and spa are in the residence.

The landscaped grounds of Wilson’s Rocky Mountain house include a calm pond and waterfall, an outdoor fireplace in a circle of trees, a big dining terrace, and a football field-sized grass.

Cherry Hills Village has several Broncos. The little village housed John Elway and Peyton Manning. Last year, Mike Shanahan’s 32,000-square-foot mansion, two doors from Wilson and Ciara’s new house, sold for $15.7 M.
