Aluna 127: FDC Yachts Introduces the Magnificent Second Yacht of the Aluna Series

The 39-meter Aluna 127 is the second variant in the Aluna series introduced by FDC Yachts of Turkey. The complete displacement yacht was designed in collaboration with Red Yacht Design and can function as a support vessel or an expedition vessel.

The Aluna 127 has a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, with FDC Yachts handling the hull and detail engineering. Red Yacht Design also designed the interior and exterior of the ocean-going vessel.

In addition to sharing the same DNA as her smaller sistership, Aluna 87, Aluna 127 is also capable of serving as a support yacht. Her forward-located superstructure, which allows guests to experience an exceptionally spacious aft deck, is one of her distinguishing characteristics.

Aluna 127 can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests with her owners suite located on the upper deck at the bow, with a large terrace and his-and-hers ensuite bathrooms. The remaining guest staterooms are situated on the lower deck, alongside accommodation for a crew of eight.

On the main deck, Aluna 127 can accommodate a tender up to 12 meters in length, which is a feature that is exclusive to this vessel. She can also accommodate a four-person helicopter landing on her spacious deck.

With her twin Caterpillar C18 Acert engines, Aluna 127 has been engineered for optimal fuel efficiency and optimum performance. It is anticipated that she will have a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots.

The first yacht in the series, the Aluna 87, was announced by FDC Yachts in April 2022, with an expected delivery date of 2024. The Aluna 127 will be introduced in the summer of 2025 following a 20-month construction period. She is available for purchase from Ocean Independence.
