And he apparently wanted the modest five-bedroom, four-bath house so badly that he paid $4.5 million — $421,000 more than the asking price.
The rapper is also in luck because the five-bedroom, four-bathroom Hidden Hills home went on the market for the first time in 67 years on December 1 for $4.079 million, according to the listing.
According to public records, West, 44, closed on the home on December 20 through the LLC Spruce Blue Trust.

Although the “Donda” singer has expressed a Ԁеsire to “get his family back together,” a source told The Post that this house purchase was primarily for the former couple’s children.
“It’s just simple logistics so he’s close to his children and has access to them at any time,” the insider explained.
However, it appears that the home will require some upgrades, as it appears to be a far cry from what the Kardashian-West family is used to.

A fireplace in the family room and sliding doors that look out over the pool and horse corral are among the features. According to the listing, the home also includes a two-car detached garage with a guest unit that leads along a path to the three-stall barn. The barn includes a tack room and hay storage, as well as a large horse paddock.
The same owners have lived in the home since it was built in 1955 and has been well maintained.
The front lawn was recently replaced with drought-resistant AstroTurf, and the existing kitchen, which includes an island, was remodelled in 2005.

West also recently listed one of his beloved Wyoming ranches for $11 million. The ranch is still for sale.
West also paid $57.3 million for a luxurious modern Malibu estate in September.
The listing was held by Melissa and Jason Improta of Compass, and the buyer was represented by Tomer Fridman of Compass.
