After spending the majority of last year in a rented Hollywood Hills mansion with his now-ex-girlfriend Denise Bidot, Lil Wayne has apparently decided to put down real estate roots in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, the 38-year-old rapper has paid $15.4 million for a lavish estate in Hidden Hills, a guard-gated San Fernando Valley enclave that is home to numerous celebrities, including Drake, Lori Loughlin, Dwyane Wade, Jessica Simpson, Jeffree Star, John Stamos, and multiple Kardashians.

Weezy’s new abode is situated directly across the street from The Weeknd’s $22 million Hidden Hills mansion, which has been on the market since last summer and is still available.

The hilltop compound, constructed in 2019 by a local builder, consists of a 10,000-square-foot-plus main mansion and a distinct, mini-me-style guesthouse on a pad that is lower than the elevated main house. The entire property encompasses more than three acres of landscaped land dotted with olive trees and undulating lawns. The lot is surrounded by white picket fences and horse trails, a nod to Hidden Hills’ equestrian roots; nearly half of the community’s residents still maintain horses on their ranches.

Almost every room of the house is characterized by its enormous windows, which collectively deluge the home with natural light. The breakfast room has three walls of windows overlooking the courtyard, while the family room has glass sliding doors that lead to a patio.

Other amenities include a blacked-out wet bar with a flat-screen television, a fitness center with French doors leading to a loggia, and a movie theater with a celestial galaxy ceiling, similar to that of a modern Rolls-Royce.

There’s also a full outdoor kitchen and BBQ center outside, which services the exceptionally large al fresco dining/entertaining spaces. A sports court and negative-edge swimming pool with inset spa round out the recreational features.

There are five apartments with private bathrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom features a neutral color scheme and a fireplace with a marble surround. Attached to the bedroom is an open lounging area surrounded by walls of windows; the master bathroom features a large picture window and a steam shower, as well as a connected walk-in closet.

The guesthouse, which is accessible via its own brief driveway, features a compact kitchen and a cozy living room.
