2019 and 2020 will witness the most new hypercars ever. The next generation of hypercars looks to be arriving this year.

The Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1, and Porsche 918 ruled the hypercar industry in 2013, but six years is a long time in automotive technology, especially at the high end. To motivate ourselves, we looked at the most anticipated hypercars of the next year.

The two-seater Mercedes-AMG Project ONE will bring Formula 1 hybrid technology to the street for the first time. Given their recent F1 performance, this may be the quickest production vehicle on a circuit. Aston Martin and Red Bull disagree, saying their Aston Martin Valkyrie will be a genuine racing vehicle and near to Le Mans criteria from the start. Ferrari launched a 989 horsepower plug-in hybrid hypercar featuring a turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 and three electric motors.

Not only supercar and hypercar manufacturers have new supercars this year. All-electric hypercars and impressive figures are threatening the incumbents. Tesla’s Roadster and Rimac’s 1,900+ horsepower Concept Two are both coming out.
