Completely Furnished Barbie Dream House on Martha’s Vineyard

Barbiecore style is a big trend that contrasts contemporary life’s gloom. The bright, sweet, and ultra-feminine image is hotter than ever with the arrival of “Barbie,” starring Margot Robbie, next month. “Barbie is everything,” reads the movie poster. But Kyle Neyer of Tealane Associates has Martha’s Vineyard’s Pink House for $850,000.

 

The Carpenter Gothic-styled villa in Oak Bluffs predates Barbiecore and is near the island’s unspoilt beaches and summer concerts in the town’s gorgeous parks. Oak Bluffs has fantastic shopping, restaurants, and one of the two ferry ports linking the island to mainland Massachusetts.

 

Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association’s gingerbread bungalows include the bubblegum-pink home. The area was once a Methodist summer campsite, but about 1870, tents were replaced with beautiful houses. The doll-sized homes are charming, so why needs an airport-sized house with a bowling alley in the basement?

The winterized home is small at 697 square feet, but it has a spacious living/dining area and a modern galley kitchen with marble countertops. An under-counter washer/dryer is included, however a pink Smeg fridge would be great! One bathroom and two bedrooms are up the narrow staircase, one with arched French doors to a little balcony.
