Snoop Dogg recently acquired a stunning 1970 Buick Skylark convertible.
The rapper sought a distinctive look for the classic, opting for a chrome vinyl wrap in “tangerine orange chrome,” complemented by a black soft top and gold rims.Interior upgrades included a Gtechniq ceramic coating and luxurious brown leather upholstery. Snoop’s personalized touch extended to the trunk lid, adorned with neon letters referencing his 1998 album. The grille proudly displays his nаme, while the DR Records logo replaces the Buick emblem. This Skylark, part of the 1970 lineup, boasts a shorter wheelbase in the two-door variant and likely features a 350-cc (5.7-liter), 315-horsepower engine.Completed earlier in the year, Snoop unveiled his latest acquisition on Instagram. Notably, this isn’t his first buy from Spokes & Vogues, having previously upgraded his 1968 Mercury Cougar at the Los Angeles-based shop in 2021.Despite the car’s origin in Gulfport, Mississippi, the customization work was handled by Spokes-N-Vogues in Huntsville, Alabama.Snoop’s initial Instagram inquiry about the car, expressing his desire for the shop’s unique touch, culminated in what “Big Lee” Adams proudly describes as a “great work.”
