Jason Statham Mɑkes a Lavish Purchɑse with a Mɑlibu Mɑnsion: A Price Tag Unɑttɑinɑble for Mɑny

Hollywood action star Jason Statham has recently listed his charming Malibu beach house for nearly $20 million, undoubtedly aiming for a ‘fast and furious’ sale.

The rugged four-bedroom cottage, nestled along the Pacific Ocean, was acquired by the 52-year-old actor, best known for portraying the villainous Deckard Shaw in the Fast and Furious film series, a decade ago.

Potential buyers stand to contribute to Statham’s considerable profit, considering he reportedly spent $10.6 million on the beach property back in 2009.

This translates to an average annual value increase of over $1 million.

The house’s allure is significantly influenced by its breathtaking setting within the Colony area of Malibu’s coveted Colony neighborhood, concealed behind secured gates.

Affectionately known as ‘The Black House,’ it sits directly on the private beach at the tip of a peninsula. The exterior is distinguished by cedar shingles and ominous-looking black-painted paint.

The 3,900-square-foot main residence boasts three bedrooms and three bathrooms. At the rear of the property stands a standalone guest cottage featuring a self-contained one-bedroom apartment over a two-car garage.

The home’s standout feature—the stunning vistas of the crashing Pacific from nearly every window—is fully maximized. Spacious decks offer an ideal vantage point for observing local Surfrider beach surfers or enjoying another California sunset.

The main living area provides a tranquil haven with floor-to-ceiling windows and access to the seaside deck crafted from Burmese teak. Large, cushioned couches by the windows create a perfect unwinding spot.

Adjacent to the main living space is a cozy lounge boasting a substantial stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling storage filled with fuel. The adjoining TV room complements the house’s architecture with its black-painted bookcases.

Once again, the spacious, minimalist kitchen adheres to an all-gray and all-black palette. It features premium Gaggenau appliances, chic stainless steel counters, and dark gray German Bulthaup cabinetry.

Ascending the stairs to the second floor, the master bedroom spans the entire width of the house. With floor-to-ceiling windows and four white-wood framed doors opening to a private balcony, it capitalizes on the refreshing coastal winds.
