Former Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has returned to his opulent Cheshire home with his family, signaling a shift in their living arrangements. Solskjaer and his wife, Silje, initially resided in Bramhall, Stockport, during the majority of his career with Manchester United. However, in 2007, they embarked on the construction of a Scandinavian-style “eco mansion” on the outskirts of Alderley Edge.
The impressive property, set on 3.4 acres of land, features six bedrooms, a spacious living kitchen, a media room, a gym, and a garage for three cars. A striking 15 x 7-meter swimming pool adds to the allure of the estate. Despite trying to sell the property in 2016, the Solskjaers chose to rent it out, reportedly to Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expressed his excitement about returning to the house, which has been under construction for several years. He mentioned that the family had enjoyed their time in Norway, where he coached Molde, and now looks forward to moving back to the Cheshire home they began building in 2007. The reunion with their luxurious residence marks a significant change for the Solskjaer family after living apart for the past six months.
