Exploring the Unique Features Within John Terry’s Mansion

John Terry has revealed the extensive construction work underway at his Surrey estate, where the former Chelsea star is preparing to add a new pool and tennis court. Terry shared a video on his Instagram account showcasing the ongoing transformation in his yard.

The 40-year-old, wearing his iconic jacket from his playing career with the number 26 on the back, was spotted outside his £4.35 мillion property. Prior to this recent project, Terry had already completed the construction of his current home, which he moved into in July 2019.

An earlier update this year had highlighted the progress on Terry’s outdoor tennis court and pool. Now, he has provided a glimpse inside his new home to his 5.5 мillion Instagram followers. The once bare structure is now adorned with gleaming-white fixtures and fittings, with videos indicating the final stages of construction, including the floor being laid.

Terry referred to one of the videos as the “wine and cigar room,” hinting at a potential ultimate man cave. Moving outside, he showcased the pool renovation. In a February video, the yard appeared as a mud bowl with distant diggers. With the hole dug and pool foundations set, the remaining tasks involve tiling and adding water.

Last summer, Terry had proposed building a new garage and an outdoor gathering space, but these plans faced opposition from irate neighbors. Concerns were raised about potential noise disturbances due to swimming pool activities, covered outdoor dining, and a bar. A neighbor’s letter to Guildford Council’s planning officer emphasized the year-round use of the space, raising concerns about noise annoyance.

Having retired from playing at the end of the 2017–18 season, Terry shifted his focus to coaching and currently serves as the assistant manager for Aston Villa.
