Discover Usher’s first home when he started his business at age 13

In a 2003 episode of “How I’m Living,” the singer behind “U Remind Me” shared his enduring dream of acquiring a particular house, a desire he had nurtured since the age of 13.

Shown on BET, Usher Raymond IV first encountered the residence when it belonged to music producer L.A. Reid.

Influenced by the home, an actress from “Moesha” expressed her aspiration, saying, “Someday, I aspire to own a house like this.” The expansive property spans 8,000 square feet and includes seven bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms.

As reported by The Blast, notable features of the property include a climate-controlled treehouse, a yoga studio, and a private dance studio. Usher eloquently described the master bedroom in 2003 as “exquisite, yet profoundly cozy and seductive,” reflecting his personal aesthetic. He remarked, “This room truly embodies my essence.”

The Los Angeles property, valued at $4.2 million, owned by the musician, is currently listed for sale. Unfortunately, in late March, the residence fell victim to a break-in. According to The Blast’s report on Tuesday, the thieves made off with jewelry and cash totaling $820,000.

The burglars took extensive measures to avoid detection, including confiscating tapes from the security cameras on the estate, making their identification nearly impossible.

Perched on a hill overlooking Sunset Strip, the mansion covers 4,261 square feet and comprises five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, and a refreshing pool area.
