An Exclᴜsive Look into Taylor Swift’s Collection of Eight Multimillion-Dollar Homes

Maybe Taylor Swift is best known for her successful music career. But with eight homes in four states, she might soon be able to add “real estate mogul” to her list of titles. Forbes says the 33-year-old superstar is worth about $570 million, $150 million of which she has invested in real estate. She just finished the first leg of her record-breɑki𝚗g Eras Tour in the U𝚗ited Stɑtes.

Step Inside Taylor Swift's Eight Multimillion-Dollar Homes

As a country girl, Swift has come a long way. Now she is a worldwide pop star. Her big break came on a Christmas tree farm in Cumru Township, Pennsylvania. The Swift family then moved 15 minutes away to a five-bedroom house in Wyomissing, which is just outside of Reading. It was in a Georgian Colonial–style house that she first became interested in music and learned to play the guitar. Swift persuaded her parents to move to Nashville when she was 14 years old so she could pursue a career in music. It was there that she bought her first real estate property, a condo that she still owns today.

After that, Swift has been able to silence her doubters and has since built up eight different homes, ranging from a $150 million penthouse in TriBeCa, Manhattan, to an 11,000-square-foot historical landmark in California. She’s on a successful tour that Forbes says will make her a billionaire by the end of the year. Who knows how much more she’ll buy and sell in real estate (and what new songs she’ll write about it).

WEST VILLAGE APARTMENT, NEW YORK

Before Swift’s famous song “I rent a place on Cornelia Street,” she lived in this 1870 brick townhouse. From 2016 to 2017, she rented it while her $50 million TriBeCa loft was being renovated. Today, this cute house is officially for sale for $17.9 million, or you can rent it for $45,000 a month. There are four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a huge indoor pool in the space. Double-height ceilings, old Parisian brickwork, and a variety of fаncy chandeliers are all high-end features. It’s one of her most beautiful homes, and the combination of old-world charm and modern updates makes it a very expensive and luxurious place to live.

TRIBECA PENTHOUSE, NEW YORK

Swift bought not one but two penthouses next to each other in an old TriBeCa building at 155 Franklin Street in 2014. He then turned them into one big duplex with a billiards room, an amazing sweeping staircase and a total of 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The best part? Roger Jackson, who directed The Lord of the Rings, sold her these homes.

Page Six says that Taylor offered Sophie Turner and her kids this flat so that they could have a place to live while she deals with custody issues during her messy divorce from Joe Jonas. Turner has been seen walking around the neighbourhood, and Cosmopolitan says he looks “unbothered and incredible.” Of course, we would too if we lived in this high-end flat in a great spot.

NEIGHBORING TRIBECA TOWNHOUSE, NEW YORK

Three years after buying the two TriBeCa penthouses, Swift bought the townhouse next door that is over a hundred years old to grow horizontally. The home has a home theatre, gym, guest suite, and terrace, among other high-end features. It is thought to be worth $18 million. It was built in 1915, and architect and designer Leopoldo Rosati changed everything about it.

Early in 2018, the 12-time Grammy winner paid $9.75 million for a second, three-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot loft on the second floor of the same TriBeCa building. This gave her a much bigger stake in the highly sought-after 155 Franklin Street address. The flat used to belong to businessman Jeremy Phillips.

BEVERLY HILLS ESTATE, LOS ANGELES

Swift has owned three homes in Los Angeles. Her 2015 purchаse of a 1934 mansion in Beverly Hills is by far the most impressive. The 10,982-square-foot estate was once owned by movie producer Samuel Goldwyn. It is now being fixed up and turned into a historic landmark, which is what Swift decided to do when she bought it.

Taylor Swift’s 12,000-square-foot beach house is on top of the town’s highest point and is where her famous A-list parties are held (she’s known for having parties here on Independence Day). This mansion is one of her best purchases. It has seven bedrooms, eight fireplaces, a beautiful pool, and views of the water that go on for 700 feet.

BEVERLY HILLS MIDCENTURY MODERN HOME, LOS ANGELES

The ranch-style house Swift used to own was built in the midcentury modern style popular in Hollywood in the 1950s. Swift no longer owns it. Because the house is at the base of lush green hills, it gets a lot of light and air. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom ranch has a simple exterior, but inside it has white-beamed ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, and the best part—a climate-controlled wι𝚗е cellar that can hold 1,000 bottles. She bought the house in 2012 and put it on the market in May 2018. In September, it sold for $2.65 million, which was $300,000 less than what was being asked for. She did make $850,000 from the sale, though.

GREEK REVIVAL ESTATE, NASHVILLE

Even though Swift travels a lot, she stayed close to home when she bought Northumberland Estate, a large Greek Revival home in Nashville. She bought the beautifully designed home in 2011 for $2.5 million. It has a main house that is 5,600 square feet and a guesthouse that is 2,000 square feet. Both have vaulted ceilings, herringbone floors, and marble fireplaces.
